Job SearchI started off the project by doing research on my dream job. I honestly don't know what I want my dream job to be so this was very difficult, I think I want to work with small businesses so this obviously won't be on Indeed or listed somewhere. But to follow along with the assignment I picked a Web Developer job at Purdue working in the Marketing Department.

Skill ListsAfter researching my dream job my group and I created a skill list summarizing what kind of skills each of our jobs were looking for. Myself and another group member made the list you see on the left, summarizing, generalizing and then focusing in on common skills or ones we deemed very important to present to the class.

Secondary ResearchAfter looking into our dream jobs and creating a skill list we then went into secondary research on UX trends in the field of Web Programming and Design. My research ended up following a lot of similar themes including enhancing intractability for users, upgrading features we already have, dabbling in new tech, personalization, and really pushing users toward features/products etc we want them to look at or focus on. Even thought they followed general themes, each article had a clear focus with the “WIX” article going more towards concepts like AI and the Metaverse and using those to blend the real world with the virtual world. While the “Ace Infoway'' article focused more on features and visual design like animation, menus, gradients, etc.

Final Product
All of this led to our final project of an in-class presentation. For the presentation, I helped write slides, add images, and presented the "Dream Job/Skill List" slide.
